  • Space curve:
  • r = t
  • phi = t
  • z = t
  • in cylindrical coordinate system

Calculate

  • 1. Curve arc
  • 2. Curve curvature
  • 3. Curve torsion
  • 3. Tangent vector field
  • 4. Normal vector field
  • 5. Binormal vector field
  • Run atlas 2D/3D Wizard and press NEXT button
  • Choose  3D - space and press NEXT button
  • Select CYLINDRICAL coordinate system and press NEXT button
  • Select CURVE and press NEXT button
  • Enter the curve equations and press NEXT button (t is the parameter)
  • Press Check-Out button or just skip this step and press NEXT button
  • Specify a worksheet to save the Maple™ code (output.mws by default).
  • Press FINISH button and execute in Maple™ the generated file
